Designing a Scalable Packaging System for a Family-Owned Honey Producer
LILI-MED is a family-owned beekeeping business based in Vinica, Slovakia, producing locally harvested honey and a growing range of bee products, including propolis and pollen. As the product portfolio expanded, the existing packaging no longer provided a consistent visual identity or clear differentiation between individual products. Playful Sparkle was commissioned to develop a cohesive packaging system that strengthens brand recognition while supporting future product additions.
Objective
Create a professional packaging system that unifies the LILI-MED product range, clearly distinguishes individual honey varieties and bee products, and delivers print-ready artwork suitable for retail distribution and future packaging expansion.

Impact
The completed packaging system established a cohesive visual identity across LILI-MED’s growing product range while improving product differentiation and shelf presentation. The production-ready assets and scalable design framework enable new products to be introduced with minimal design effort, helping maintain consistency across packaging, promotional materials, and future retail applications.
Approach
The project began by reviewing the existing product presentation and identifying opportunities to improve consistency across the entire range. A structured packaging system was developed using a refined logo, custom illustrations, carefully selected typography, and a coordinated colour palette that helps customers quickly distinguish between products while maintaining a unified brand appearance. Every label was prepared as production-ready artwork to ensure accurate printing and consistent reproduction across future packaging.
