Human International Charity Website

Overview

Making Humanitarian Support and Charity Information Easier to Access

Human International is a nonprofit organization established in 2006 that coordinates humanitarian aid for hospitals, schools, care homes, children’s homes, social institutions, and people in need. Working with humanitarian partners, including ORA International, the organization helps distribute donated goods and essential supplies to communities across several countries.

Human International approached Playful Sparkle to develop a website that would make the organization’s mission, activities, and available support easier to understand and navigate. The project focused on creating a structured, multilingual website where people could learn how the organization operates, discover its humanitarian activities, find contact information, and understand how they could contribute to its work.

Objective

Develop an accessible, easy-to-navigate website that communicates Human International’s mission and makes relevant information available to people seeking assistance, potential donors, volunteers, and partner organizations. The website needed to organize the organization’s activities, news, multimedia, contact information, and guidance on providing or receiving support across Hungarian, Slovak, and German language versions.

Scope of Work

  • Website Strategy and Information Architecture
  • Joomla CMS Development
  • Multilingual Website Development
  • Website Navigation and Content Organization
  • Charity and Humanitarian Activity Pages
  • News and Updates Section
  • Multimedia Integration
  • Help and Support Information
  • Contact Information and Communication Structure
  • Website Logo Digitization
  • Content Presentation and Organization

Impact

The completed website provides Human International with a central platform for communicating its humanitarian mission and activities. Its navigation separates organizational information, humanitarian initiatives, news, multimedia, useful links, contact details, and help-related information into clearly defined sections.

The three-language website makes the organization’s information available to Hungarian-, Slovak-, and German-speaking audiences. By organizing information around the organization’s work and the needs of its visitors, the website provides a clearer route for people looking for assistance, organizations interested in cooperation, and individuals wishing to support humanitarian activities.

Approach

The project began with identifying the information visitors needed most, particularly how Human International provides assistance, the institutions and communities it supports, and how people can contact the organization or contribute to its work. We organized the website around these priorities, separating information about the organization from its activities, news, multimedia, useful links, and support-related content.

Joomla was used as the content management system to implement the website structure and support the three language versions. The navigation was designed to give each main information category a clear place within the site, helping visitors find relevant content without having to navigate through unrelated sections.

The project also included digitizing the organization’s existing logo for use on the website. Together, the content structure, multilingual implementation, and brand asset preparation established a dedicated online presence for Human International and a manageable platform for publishing information about its ongoing humanitarian work.
