A Distinctive Brand Identity for KARLTECH’s Window and Door Solutions
KARLTECH, owned by Karol Bugyi, is a business based in Vinica, Slovakia, providing window, door and related solutions for residential and commercial buildings. Its product range includes PVC and aluminium windows and doors, sliding systems, glazed façades, winter gardens, garage doors, railings and shading accessories such as blinds and insect screens. Its services cover customer consultation, technical planning, product supply and installation. Playful Sparkle was commissioned to develop a complete brand identity that reflects this architectural focus through a distinctive logo and a coordinated visual system for business communications, digital channels and vehicle graphics.

The objective was to create a recognizable brand identity that communicates KARLTECH’s focus on window and door solutions while maintaining a consistent appearance across its business materials. The logo needed to establish the company name as the central element, using typography, color and geometric details to convey a structured, technically oriented character. The wider identity system needed to support the company’s diverse product range and provide a consistent visual framework for stationery, digital communications, social media and vehicle graphics.

The completed KARLTECH identity establishes a consistent visual direction built around bold typography, a contrasting black-and-yellow palette and integrated horizontal graphic elements. The wordmark gives the business name a strong visual presence, while its geometric construction creates a structured appearance suited to a company working with architectural products and installation solutions. The coordinated identity extends this visual language across stationery, digital assets and vehicle graphics, providing KARLTECH with a unified brand presentation and documented guidelines for consistent use across its business communications.
The design process focused on making the KARLTECH name the primary graphic element rather than using a literal illustration of a window or door. The wordmark separates KARL in yellow from TECH in black, creating a clear visual hierarchy while keeping the name unified. Bold, uppercase sans-serif typography gives the logo a strong presence, while its geometric letterforms support the architectural character of the business.
The extended black upper stroke and yellow baseline are integrated into the lettering to create a structured horizontal composition. These elements reinforce the relationship between the two parts of the wordmark without introducing unnecessary decoration. The focused black-and-yellow palette maintains contrast and keeps the business name at the center of the design.
The same visual principles extend across business cards, letterheads, envelopes, email signatures, social media assets and vehicle graphics. Consistent typography, color placement and supporting graphic elements connect these applications to the primary logo. The brand guidelines document the visual system to support consistent use across KARLTECH’s business communications.
